The Charging around Western Australia - 2025 WA EV Network Review by Future Smart Strategies evaluates the state’s electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure, identifying critical gaps and proposing urgent reforms. Commissioned by the Tesla Owners Club of Western Australia (TOCWA), the report highlights the WA EV Network’s role in accelerating decarbonization, tourism, and regional connectivity while stressing three priorities
1. Expanding coverage along the Great Northern Highway.
2. Reducing charger spacing from 200 km to 100 km for safety.
3. Implementing a resilient maintenance framework to address reliability issues.
